3 Games of 40K

Played 3 games over the past two weekends. As I was travelling I didn't get to put them on.

All games were 1500 Nids versus the following:
1. Daemonhunters: my enemy kept hiding at his lines and feared my Tyrant. The moment I closed in on his lines, he evaporated. I won this game holding 2 vs 1 objectives.

2. IG: my enemy had so many guns it was not funny. I lost my big creatures in 1 round of shooting. IG is the army to look out for. My guard and tyrant died in 1 turn of shooting. By turn 3 I called it a loss. More fast units to deal wi his shootiness. I strongly suggest a Trygon or Mawloc (which I have ordered)

3. Dark Eldar: Surprisingly this book still works well in this edition. He had lots of high strength weapons but insuff to blunt my attack. Managed to get into his line and they just crumbled. My genestealers didn't really do very much. Outflank is powerful but not super uber.

Take a look at the pics and put comments!

Batrep 1750 CSM vs 1750 SW

Had a game with Defu Space wolf using my CSM as only my CSM can hit above 1750. No pictures, no animated pictures. Dizzy + sleepy to do any... Maybe next wk I'll create some pictures if I still can remember.

Mission: Seize ground ( 5 objectives)
Deployment: pitch battle

Game end on turn 6.
Victory to Space wolf : 2 - 1

Conclusion
Make some mistakes by reserving my berserkers and land raider. Also should have deepstrike my terminators on the right flank of Space wolf holding an objective. Giving them more targets to shoot at and also protecting my daemon prince. Daemon prince was shot to death before he could do any damage. Position my sorcerer too far behind limited my choice of Lash targets. On turn 6 I should had charged Logan grimnar (already engaged with a PF aspiring champion) with my 7 remaining chaos marines with champion (power fist), but past experience with Logan prevented me from making that choice. If I managed to kill him, the game would be a draw.

Past experience - Logan grimnar survived 6 agonizer atk wounds!

Rune priest runic weapon = EVIL!

The khorne Daemon prince was transformed to chaos spawn for his failure yet again.

Another few layers...

Here we go. More pics of my nids. This time you can see both sides. I love the warrior models. They are so well designed! It sure is a lot of work getting the colour scheme to work. Enjoy!

Repainting of my Nids

Hey guys,

A quick update. I have begun work on repainting my Nids and they will be painted to the Hivefleet Leviathan colour scheme.

Above are the two pictures of the WIP.

I will be targetting a 1500 list using this new colour scheme. I am targetting to get the big creatures done first before I hit the smaller creatures.

Keep posting those battle reports! I will create some posts after next weekend when I get a game in.

Batrep 1k orks vs 1k sm, 1k eldar (no pics)

Played 2 small games this weekend , 1 against SM and 1 against eldar. No pictures or batrep pics. (lazy hehehe)

Orks vs SM (1k)
Mission: Capture & control
Deployment: pitch battle (was DOW lol...)

Both players put their objectives behind their deployment zone. SM wiping orks troops early in the game prevented any chance of victory for orks. SM landspeeder storm with scouts nearly capture orks objective (only 2" away). While orks warboss +nobz clear out the tactical marines holding the SM objective.

Game end on turn 5, with a roll of 2.
0 - 0 objective DRAW.

Funny moments: Tech marine running away from warboss got shot in the back by warboss TL shoota. (tech marine ran from 3rd storey ruin to gnd floor but could not escape the wrath of the warboss.)

Orks vs Eldar (1k)
Mission: Capture & control (again lol...)
Deployment: DOW...

Slugga boyz on trukk with warboss + nobz on B.wagon rush the eldar objective, clearing the wraithguard and storm guardians holding eldar objective. While Seer council in wave serpent clear out the shoota boyz and lootas defending the orks objective.

Game end on turn 6, as only non scoring troops was left on both sides and no chance of wiping each other out due to the distance apart.
0 - 0 objective DRAW.

Funny moments: Farseer fail reroll invul saves consecutively! (led by example goes wrong)

The small games prevented much option for the armies, bringing only 2 troops each. Alot of firepower was concentrated on eliminating the scoring units and resulting in draw for both sides.
